The In View Series Profiles Hanbleceya in Series on Mental Health

Mental health has received short thrift for many years in many circles, but things have begun to change. Numerous disturbing instances of mass violence, including massacres in Aurora, Col., Tucson, Az. and Newtown, Conn. in recent years, have brought mental issues into focus and placed greater importance upon mental health services. As part of its look at mental health facilities and mental health services, the In View series hosted by Larry King recently showcased Hanbleceya, a company with more than 30 years of experience helping the often underserved community of mental health patients improve their lives by overcoming numerous issues. The company, founded in 1979, operates facilities in the San Diego area and the Seattle area, giving patients with many kinds of psychological problems the help they need to lead happy, productive and healthy lives.

The counselors, therapists and psychiatrists at the Seattle Hanbleceya facility and the San Diego Hanbleceya office have enjoyed great results in helping men and women recover from all types of mental health problems and psychological issues. Hanbleceya San Diego and Hanbleceya Seattle offer valuable assistance to people dealing with personality disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The staff at Hanbleceya also offers services for clients who have dual diagnoses. These individuals have addictions to drugs and/or alcohol, as well as underlying mental disorders and psychiatric disorders.

The In View series informed viewers how Hanbleceya offers a unique approach to mental health treatment to many traditional models of mental health. The company involves patients’ families throughout the treatment process. The staff of the centers teaches clients to self-manage their symptoms. Patients live in therapeutic community settings while going through treatment.

Health Stories, and the In View Series Hosted by Larry King

Medical researchers at some of America’s most-prestigious research institutions, colleges and universities have made great strides in understanding disease processes and health conditions. As people become more aware of the genetic codes that make humans susceptible to particular medical conditions and diseases, patients and medical professionals can chart a course for treatment that gives patients their best chances for survival and good health. Patients can take proactive steps to minimize their chances of developing diseases later in life, as Angelina Jolie recently did when she underwent a preventative double-mastectomy after she had learned that her genes made it highly likely she would develop breast cancer or ovarian cancer. The In View series, an educational series distributed on cable channels and cable networks across the U.S., will look at various examples of medical progress and health advances, such as genomics and personalized health care.

The In View series hosted by Larry King will inform viewers about some of the advances that researchers and pharmaceutical companies have made in understanding the cause of diseases and health conditions, as well as advances in the treatment of diseases and medical conditions. The In View TV series looks at vaccines, cures, disease-prevention methods and medications, and informs viewers how they help people in the United States and around the globe.
